Clifford Eisenman



Clifford E. (“Shorty”, “Spike”) Eisenman, 83, Green Bay, died Friday, February 19, 2010, at a local hospital.

He was born on October 25, 1926 in Green Bay to the late Edmund and Eva (Schmitt) Eisenman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On Oct. 30, 1948, he married the former Arlene Adams; she preceded him in death on August 7, 1980. Prior to retirement, Cliff was a truck driver for Green Bay-Chicago Lines for many years. He enjoyed bowling, watching baseball and softball games, trips to the casino and many years at his trailer in Quiet Woods where he spent much time fishing.

Survivors include two sons: George, Green Bay, and Paul (special friend, Susanne Barrett), Suamico; one sister: Donna Mancheski, Denmark; one sister-in-law: Doris Adams, Marion, and one brother-in-law: Bob Adams; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his many bowling buddies.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law: Felix R. Mancheski, George Adams and Eugene Adams; and two sisters-in-law: Lucille Adams and Ruth Adams.

Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, where funeral services will take place at 7:00 p.m. followed by military honors. Interment will take place in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

Cliff’s family would like to thank Dr. Amy James and her staff at Bellin Hospital for the care that was provided.
