Myron B. Rentmeester

Biography

Myron B. Rentmeester, 86, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013. He was born in Green Bay on August 1, 1926 to the late Bernard and Ella (Tilkens) Rentmeester. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, stationed in the Philippines. Myron married Audrey R. Sipiorski on January 9, 1954 at Holy Trinity Church in Pine Grove. He was a home builder for many years in the Green Bay area.

Myron was a member of VFW Post 10244. He enjoyed camping, boating, snowmobiling and fishing. Myron especially liked music and woodworking. He enjoyed photography, taking care of his plants and traveling. Myron and Audrey took many trips to Branson, Missouri. They cherished family get-togethers with the children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Audrey; seven children, Patricia (Myron) Lukasik of Whitelaw, Thomas (Sandy) Rentmeester of New Franken, Leon (Lisa) Rentmeester of Suamico, Janice (Terry) Whitefield of Hobart, Leonard (Debbie) Rentmeester of Howard, Cheryl (Steve) Skarda of Menasha and Ann (Shane) Schick of Howard; 18 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; a brother, Delbert (Margaret) Rentmeester of Bellevue; two sisters, Sharon (Leo) Witcpalek of De Pere, Geraldine Deprey of Green Bay; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Rentmeester of Green Bay.

Myron was preceded in death by his brother, Jim and a brother-in-law, Melvin Deprey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until the Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 1, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida Street, from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Military honors will follow. Entombment will be at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. A
