Biography

Eugene D. Clark, 85, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013. He was born on June 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Marie and Eugene Clark. He married Betty De Greef on November 7, 1947. They were married for 50 years until Betty passed away in 1998. Eugene was a great husband and father, who loved his family. He was a proud lifelong Green Bay firefighter/paramedic who retired after 34 years as a Captain. He enjoyed foremost his cottage on Lost Lake, and time spent with his family swimming. He also enjoyed hunting in the Western United States. He was a volunteer for the Red Cross, and was a member of the Moose Lodge and YMCA, where he developed many lifelong friendships. He enjoyed traveling, and loved playing various card games.
Survivors include son, Patrick Clark; two daughters, Sharon (Fred) Gegere, Linda (Howard) Mommaerts; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Casey Mommaerts, Jason, Andrew Gegere, Brent Walls; two great grandchildren, Alana, Aidan; sister, Joan (Jerry) Glowacki; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to his wife Betty, he was preceded in death by son, Mike; and daughter, Brenda, and companion Muffin.
Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Wednesday, March 6, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Entombment will take place at Fort Howard Mausoleum.
