Dear Kurt, Linda and Scott, I am so sorry to hear you lost her last week. I saw your mom last a little over a year ago at the funeral of our mom (Karen)...it was so great to see her, and we were so honored that she came to be with us to say goodbye to our mom. I am glad I got a big hug that day. My mom and I would occasionally stop in and visit Margaret from time to time. My mom didn't always remember the visit, but while they were spending that time with each other, they had a grand time. Of course, I feel a special connection with the family, having been with you all since birth! Kurt and I were infant room-mates as we were both born at Bellin those fateful days in July 1964. Kurt, I hope you are well, and I still am jealous you had freckles as a kid. I wish all of you good memories of your mom, of all the time you shared with her all of these years. Be well, and know that both me, and my wife Nancy, are thinking of you. Love, Lori van Handel

Dearest Scott, Linda, and Kurt, I am so incredibly sad to hear of your mom's passing, and that I didn't know until today. I would have loved to be at her celebration of life and feel I missed a very special time. Your family and ours had such close ties for so very many years. Your mom and dad were instrumental in our lives, expecially the friendship with my mom, with countless memories. I wish I could give you all a hug right now. I don't have any of your contact information, so I can't even send a card. Please know your mom (and dad) had such a special place in my heart, and I grieve with you. Love, Julie

My deepest condolences go out to you and your family for your great loss of Margaret. It can be hard to find comfort in times like these. One thing that has personally brought me comfort is a verse found in God's word the Bible at Isaiah 25:8 where it says that God "will swallow up death forever" and "will wipe away the tears from all faces". May the hope God gives of a future resurrection bring you comfort too! My heart goes out to your family.

We had fond memories of Margaret and Jack when we lived across the street from them on Woodridge Lane. They were great neighbors. Our condolences to your family on Margaret's passing.
