Edward Robert Stober Sr

.. went home to his Lord and Savior on February 8, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born on October 8, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois. He found the love of his life Grace Marie Mench, and they were married on June 8, 1963. 

Ed proudly served his county, joining the United States Marine Corp from 1955 to 1966. He was a Lab Tech with Sun Chemical until his retirement.

Ed enjoyed fishing, volunteering as a church lector, volunteering his landscaping services. He was always an extra pair of hands to anyone who needed help. Ed loved nothing more than to be outdoors working in his yard or somebody else's. 

He is survived by four children, daughter: Kim (Jeff) Hurzeler; son: Edward (Ellen) Stober; daughter: Mary (Todd) Danen; and son: Michael (Julie) Stober; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; as well as niece’s, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his wife. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday February 17, 2024, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St at 11:30 am. Visitation will occur from 10:30 am until the time of Mass at 11:30 am. Full Military Honors will follow the service. Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
