Alvin A. Kraszewski, age 91, Green Bay, formally of Pulaski, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born December 20, 1926 to the late Edward and Pauline (Nowak) Kraszewski. Alvin served his country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army. On October 5, 1963, he married Lorraine Melnarik at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Green Bay.
Alvin worked in construction all of his life. He loved bowling, fishing and played baseball many years for Pulaski in the Dairyland League. He was an avid Cubs and Brewers fan.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; his son, Robert (Nancy) Kraszewski; three grandchildren, Cory (Trisha) Spice, Jamie (Daniel) De Grave, and Ross (Alyssa) Kraszewski; four great-grandchildren, Myla, Ellie, Tristan and Ariya; and his brother, Eugene “Jack” (Margie) Kraszewski; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Alvin will take place on Monday, July 9, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2772 Oakwood Drive, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Full military honors will follow. Entombment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
