Betty Finkle

     Betty Jane Finkle, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.  She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 9, 1924, to the late Arthur and Lillian (Pahnke) Hall.  Betty graduated from East High School in 1942.

     On July 2, 1945, she married James B. Huntington.  They moved to California in 1965.  James passed away in 1969.  On February 16, 1974, Betty married Lewis Finkle.  They spent three months a year in Hawaii, three months in Arizona and six months in Coronado, California.  They made a trip around the world and several trips to Europe.

     Betty is survived by her God-daughter, Karla (Michael) Parmentier and their children, Patrick (Maria) Parmentier, Katie (Peter) Horne and Samuel Parmentier; step-children, Sandra Harris, Donna (William) Wood and Ray (Beverly) Finkle; six step-grandchildren, Shari (Chris) Sommers, Susan Youngblood, Robert (Helen) Wood, Jennifer (Richard) Nuss, Charles (Leyla) Finkle and Katherine Openshaw; seven great-grandchildren, and many cousins.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis on October 1, 2009 and son-in-law, William Harris.

     A private celebration of life will be held for Betty at a later date. 

     The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Cynthia Lasecki and the wonderful staffs at Woodside Villa and Unity Hospice.  Through their respectful and loving care.  Betty was able to live comfortably and die peacefully with dignity.  Thank you to all.
