Deanna Koller

April 27, 1940 ~ November 24, 2017 (age 77) 77 Years Old


Deanna Darlene “Dee” Koller (nee DeCloux) died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 24, 2017, in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the age of 77.

 

Deanna was born on April 27, 1940 in Oconto, Wisconsin to the late Lincoln and Rosemary DeCloux.  She graduated from Oconto High School in 1958.  She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Koller, in 1958.

 

She served as Auxiliary President of the Brown County Pharmacists Association and was active in the Girl Scouts.  Deanna was a fierce advocate for education, especially for girls.  She loved to ski and travel.

 

Deanna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Koller; daughter, Tori Grant (Doug) Welhouse and their children, Devin Welhouse, Fergus Grant, and Arabella Welhouse and  her great-grandchild, Euan Lohuis Grant;  daughter, Trudy (Brad) Strand and their children, Brent Strand and Brooke Strand, Racine; son, Michael “Mick” (Jackie) Koller, and their children, Micah Koller, Parker Koller, and Piper Koller of Minneapolis; son-in-law, Bob Sommer and grandchildren, Rachel Sommer and Jesse Sommer of New Berlin; and her sister, Judy Maronek of Green Bay.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Sommer.

 

Visitation will take place Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay, with a service immediately following at 5:00 pm, with Rev. Earl Vorpagell III officiating.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Deanna’ life.
