Eleanore Ann Nyman, age 87, Green Bay, passed away Friday, November 1, 2018. She was born November 3, 1930 to the late Adam and Frances (Schneider) Pressler at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. On December 28, 1947, Eleanore married George Dash Nyman at St. Benedicts in Chicago.
She is survived by her children, Don (Kim) Nyman, George Nyman, Jeff (Margaret) Nyman and Nancy (Jeff) Skorczewski; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her sister, Harriet Hartmann; and her brother, Hans (Noel) Pressler.
In addition to her husband, George, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Nyman and Louise Oliver, one great-granddaughter, Kiersten and her brother-in-law, Don Hartmann.
Eleanore was a world traveler and was a snow-bird at The Villages in Florida. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to bridge club and playing bunco. She was a loving matriarch for her family and instilled strong family values within her family.
Visitation for Eleanore will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 5, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, from 10:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Rev. Mike Ingold officiating.
