Fern Paul

Fern Paul, 80, Green Bay, went to be with her beautiful savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, November 9, 2018, with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Fern was born on June 25, 1938, to the late Raymond and Beatrice (Alberts) Boucher in Red River, WI.  On September 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to Orville Paul at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red River, WI.  Together, they built their Ashwaubenon home and began their family raising two adoring children.  Fern was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Green Bay. 

With her kind and patient heart, she impacted the lives of many students with her years of service with the Ashwaubenon School District. In her free time, Fern found joy in crafting, from sewing to custom floral arrangements and wreaths. She created beautiful one of kind pieces of art that her loved ones will continue to cherish for many years.

Fern will be deeply missed by her two loving children, Michael (Deb) Paul, and Deb (Terry) Seidel; grandchildren, Daniel (Nicole) Seidel, and Kelsey (Aaron) Blake; great-grandchildren, Bennett, Everly, Owen and Calen; sister, Karen Boucher.

She was preceded in death by her husband Orville of 58 years, her parents, and her brother Herman.

Friends may call at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2160 Packerland Drive, Green Bay, WI, on Tuesday, November 13, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Justin Diestler officiating. Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the family. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum, Green Bay.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites family, and friends to remember Fern with a gift to the Alzheimer’s organization or to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Emerald Bay Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice Care for the love, support, and wonderful care they provided Fern.
