Gary J. Semrau, 69, Oconto passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 7, 2018. He was born July 1, 1949, to William and Evelyn (Evrard) Semrau. He had worked as a machinist at Eagen Manufacturing in Oconto Falls. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include brother, William Semrau of Cream City; sisters, Shelby Yudes of Oconto and Judie Critchfield of San Antonio, Texas; sons, Gary Jr (Molly) Semrau of Abrams; Lukas (Nichole) Semrau of Chase; daughters, Toni (Thomas) DeBeck of Green Bay; Corrie of California; Elizabeth Semrau and fiancé Josh Cherney, Oconto; Emily (Tyler) Denham, Wilson, Kansas; as well as fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patricia Groth and Shirley Krueger; brothers-in-law, William Yudes, Byron Critchfield and Paul Krueger; nephews, David Yudes and Michael Groth; and niece, Jodi Remiker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Gary may be shared with his family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
