Katharine L. Korte

Katharine “Kathy” L. Korte, age 70, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, January 09, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.  She was born on April 11, 1947 in Green Bay to the late Herbert and Margaret (Omholt) Wake.  On June 3, 1972, Katharine married Joe Korte in Green Bay. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Katharine is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Jonathan (fiancé, Jennifer); grandchildren, Dominic and Abrianna; sister, Margot (Robert) Whitman; brother, Herbert Wake; sister-in-law, Patricia Bielski; brother-in-law, Charles (Carol Ann) Korte and friend, Karmyn Korte; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Behrendt officiating.
