Laura E. Mroczynski, age 83, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 after 48 years of chronic illness. She was born February 17, 1935 to the late Frank and Eleanor (Jarczynski) Staszak. On August 4, 1956, Laura married Norbert Mroczynski in Hofa Park, Wisconsin.
Laura enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching the humming birds and flowers. Laura truly cherished the time spent and care given to her by her husband, Norb. His dedication to her was of true love and devotion.
Laura is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norbert; her children, Mark Mroczynski, Kathy (Chuck) Johnson, Marie (Jerry) Straple, Karen (Tom) Birr and Virginia Mroczynski; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters, Diane (Frank) Wichlacz, Robert (LuAnn) Staszak, and Donald (Carol) Staszak; sister in law, Sandy Staszak; special friends, Kathy Gracyalny and Lila; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald; sister, Nancy De Grave and special cousin, Ray.
Visitation for Laura will be on Monday, September 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 3:00 pm.
