Lauren Teske

Lauren Evan Montoure Teske was born September 20, 1986 and entered into heavenly paradise November 20, 2018. Lauren was born in Milwaukee, WI to Jill and Chuck Montoure, followed by two younger brothers, Andrew and Phillip. They moved to Green Bay when Lauren was three years old. She attended St. Mark Lutheran School in Green Bay and Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, where she enjoyed performing on the dance team.

College brought Lauren back down to Milwaukee to pursue a biology degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College, where she would meet future husband, Cameron, and many lifelong friends. Following WLC, Lauren was accepted into the Marquette University School of Dentistry. Lauren graduated at the very top of her dental class allowing her to continue in a residency program to follow her dream of being an orthodontist. Upon completion, she joined her father in practice back in Green Bay. Lauren’s patients meant the world to her.

Lauren married Cameron Teske, of Crete, IL, on August 18, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church - Wauwatosa, WI. Lauren and Cameron enjoyed checking out local restaurants, exploring the outdoors, having a quiet night in being with just each other, and the loving rivalry of a Packers and Bears relationship. They welcomed a wonderful baby boy, Brekken Theodore, on May 8, 2016. Lauren was a loving wife and an even better ‘mama.’ Lauren, Cameron, and Brekken are members of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church - Suamico, WI.

She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to experience many great places around the world. Lauren loved spending time with family, especially at their cottage up north in Boulder Junction, WI.

Lauren bravely fought breast cancer for the previous two years. Her strength and determination kept her going. The love and support from family and friends comforted her. But most importantly her faith in her Savior allowed her to be at peace with the sure hope of a better eternal life in heaven.

The love for Lauren will live on in parents Jill and Chuck Montoure; brothers Andrew (wife Erin) and Phillip (fiancée Abigail); husband Cameron Teske and adorable son Brekken; Grampa Mel Witte; mother and father in law, Regan and Terry Teske, brother in law Evan Teske; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her puppy, Ruba.

Lauren is preceded into death by Grandfather Eldon Montoure, Grandmother Patricia Montoure, Grandmother Diane Witte, Uncle Steve Kruzick, and Cousin Joshua Witte.

Visitation will be held at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until the prayer service at 6:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2066  Lawrence Drive, De Pere, from 9:00 a.m. until the Christian Funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Lauren will be laid to rest at Cemetery of the Pines, Boulder Junction.  Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos may be shared with Lauren’s family at www.lyndahl.com.
