Lynne C. Fischer

Lynne C. Fischer, 81, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 with her family at her side.  Lynne is joining her beloved husband of 52 years, David, in Heaven. She graduated from East High School and attended one year of schooling at UW-Madison prior to marrying David in 1958.  Lynne then devoted the rest of her life caring for her husband and children.  She was a woman of strong faith and was a life-long member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Green Bay.  In addition, she was active in the Meals-on-Wheels Food Distribution Program, as well as performing volunteer work at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. 

Lynne was a steadfast animal lover, donating to local animal shelters, the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, and the NEW Zoo.  Lynne and Dave enjoyed vacationing in Panama City Beach, Florida, establishing a part-time residence there.  They looked forward to their daily walks in St. Andrews Park amidst the gulf-side beachfront and wildlife.  

Lynne is survived by one son, Steven (Kim) Fischer, Florida; one daughter, Kristin Fritsch, Shawano; and four grandchildren, Garrett, Alex, and Michael Fischer and Sydney Fritsch. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Honoring Lynne's wishes, a private family gathering was held on Monday, July 8th, 2019.  No formal services are planned. Online condolences can be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
