Marion J. Wauters, 91, of Ashwaubenon, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019. She was born on November 27, 1927 in Milwaukee to John and Leona (Devorse) Wauters. Marion married the late Donald Wauters in 1948 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay.
She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church for 70 years. Marion was very proud to be a crossing guard for the Village of Ashwaubeon, where she helped many children get safely across the street. She was an excellent homemaker and she loved sitting on her porch swing in the sunshine listening to country music.
Marion is survived by her children, Michael and Craig (Aliza); grandchildren, Rebecca, Anthony, Crystal and Brittany; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Melba Sanders; brothers-in-law, Gary (Kathy) Wauters and Pat Nakatsuji; her dog, Bailey and many other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold (Mary) Turriff and Donald (Betty) Turriff; sister, Beverly Nakatsuji; and sister-in-law, Shirley Wauters.
Visitation will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos may be shared with Marion’s family on her tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
