Rita Marto

Rita Marto, age 81, Suamico, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017.  She was born December 27, 1935 to the late Ralph and Josephine (Kalfas) Gokey.  On January 16, 1954, she married Richard Marto.

Rita enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; five children, Pamela (Eric) Nick, Cheryl (Wayne) Kolweier, Cynthia (Brian) Stoychoff, Rick Marto and his significant other, Kathy  and Brian (Sheree) Marto; eleven grandchildren, Brad (Michelle) Nick, Kari (Michael) King, Kendra (James III) Campbell, Niel and Johnathan Kolweier, Will (Samantha) Stoychoff, Chase Stoychoff and his significant other, Jessica; Evan Stoychoff, Nathan (Amanda) Marto, Thomas (Chelsea) Marto and Christopher Marto and his significant other, Darrellyn; twelve great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard (Kathy) Gokey and Allen (Marilyn) Gokey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Erica Nick.

Visitation will be held at on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 3370 Deerfield Ave West, Suamico, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.
