Robert "Bob" Taylor

September 25, 1951 ~ October 6, 2017 (age 66) 66 Years Old

Robert “Bob” Taylor, age 66, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017, surrounded by his family.  Bob was born on September 25, 1951, to the late James and Glenna Taylor in Worthington, Ohio.

Bob graduated from Worthington High School and then continued his education at Ohio Northern University with a bachelor’s degree in business.  On May 8, 1976, Bob married the love of his life Kathy.  He began working with Fort Howard/Georgia Pacific in 1977 and retired three years ago after 37 years.   Bob and Kathy enjoyed raising their 3 girls together as a team and valued all their family time together.

Bob was a true family man.  He could always be found spending time with his wife, three girls, son-in law or one of his five grandchildren.  Bob took enormous pride in his family.  He loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, hunting, pontoon rides, relaxing by the pool and sitting by the campfire up north.  Bob loved spending time at their cabin especially when his family joined him there, which was most of the time.  He loved and appreciated every aspect of his life.  Bob could walk into a room with his sense of humor and put a smile on everyone’s face especially with his famous catch line “Good morning and welcome to another fun filled day at ______.”  Bob had an overwhelming number of friends because of his amazing personality.

Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Taylor; their three daughters and son-in law, Lindsey (Nick) Ullmer, Jennifer Taylor, and Amanda Taylor; five grandchildren, Dominic and Nathan Ullmer, Jonathan Taylor, who also looked at Bob as his father, Izzy and Cooper Wadeen; his brother, Jim (Winnie) Taylor, step-brother and sister, Sissy Ludolph and Jim (Cris) Priday; brother and sisters-in-law, Phil (Debbie) Weber, Mike (Ava) Weber, Kris (Bob) Poole, Patti Hanlin; nieces and nephews, Amy (Adam) Weber, Karen Weber, Jason (Kassy) Poole, Steve Weber, Matt (Jenn) Weber, Jessica Poole, Jeff (Janet) Weber, Brian Weber, Kelly Hanlin, Danielle Haniln, Chris Taylor, Larisa Avens, and Heather (Dan) Kraft; his special furry companion, Lady; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins, “adopted” children and grandchildren and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Glenna Taylor; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Patricia Weber; step-mother, Mary Taylor; and his special grandmother, Gladys Mendenhall.
