Happy New Year Bill. You are thought of often, and missed by many. Really something that it has been 3 years since your departure for a better place.

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday Dear Bill,
Happy Birthday to You.
To a Great Man, Friend and Father who would have been 75 Today. We all love you and miss you very much Bill. Your passing on to your journey has caused a lot of reflecting on our past times together, and there have been many conversations as some of us have grown closer together in conversations about you and life in general. I don't think there has been a day gone by that your not in my thoughts Bill.
Thank You again for so much during our relationship. I Love You Father Bill.

Dearest Bill,
Thank you for everything over an incredible 44 Years of knowing you.
I will always appreciate the early lessons, wisdom, and humor.
Upon arriving home from kindergarten, on a sunny spring day in 1974, I entered the house at 425 Cook street to find you on the orange living room couch. Without hesitation you greeted me with "Hey Tiger". That was you, very outgoing and friendly towards everyone.
With a new glove, ball, and bat, I remember it was you who first gave me pointers on playing catch. I remember my sister Sara and I laughing as we rolled back and forth in the back of your AMX as our mother Diane told you to slow down. You built a hockey rink in our backyard, and furnished us with all of the necessary equipment to play. Often times you included your trophy winning black lab Star in our fun, and her talents were unforgettable. With your generosity, and my mother Diane's hard work, Christmases for my brothers Brian and Mark, and sisters Pam, Gwen and Sara, and my self will always be deeply cherished.
As a master in mathematics, and your sharp wit, you found ways to explain math to me in a more engaging way that helped me be more successful with math in grade school. Your words and expressions at times were so unique to your identity. Something startling or surprising..."Jimmo-mo-Jimmo-Jeh". Upset at something not working... "You dirty, dirty, disconnected", (expecting a final word of profanity we never heard). To a person being rude or talking out of turn... "Button it up"! After a fine family meal cooked by my mother Diane..."Delish". and "C'mon Hazel" while waiting for the longest light signal on Allouez and Webster Ave. And also..."Hobbser-Dobbser" a phrase I heard the first time in decades at your funeral yesterday.
I also want to thank you for helping me with some things to help me with my own family throughout the 90's and early 2000's. I think of you frequently throughout each year and during the holidays, and I am so sorry I did not call you this past holiday season as I usually have. In addition to holiday memories, I am thankful that you took the time to drive me to the New England Culinary Institute January 2nd 2004.
Thank You Bill, for being so patient and involved in the fathering of us.
Wishing you all the peace and beauty of the holiday seasons past and many still to come with your new extraordinary journey.
Love Always, "Tiger" - Erich

Bill...I'm at a loss of words. I know that I've certainly learned a lot from you, and thought highly of you. Kind of seems surreal still. As I sit here avoiding going into the funeral home, I break down. There was more I had to learn from you...a lot more damnit! I only got about 3/4 of the stories around the lake down! But I I know the routine and Steb quirks with things like the tool bench and chain saws ;)

Thank you Bill, thank you for being you, and having the heart, wisdom, and patience....it's much to be desired. Your legacy WILL continue Bill, I promise, in some way or another. The cabin surely wont be the same, but i know you'll be sittin there the grill with your flannel on, stogie in mouth, grumblin something about the burgers, and process/poking the vents underneath with your stick. Lol! I miss you already Bill. Save a spot for me at the tables up there.

In eternal gratitude,

Chris

Dear Bill; Thank you for everything over an incredible 44 years of knowing you.
I will always appreciate the early lessons, wisdom, humor, help with math and sports that you helped me with. Playing catch and especially the hockey rink you constructed in our yard.
Also; Thank you so much with important house items for my young family.
I will always remember your sharp wit and fun words; such as (JIMMO- MO- JIMMO- JEH) "Delish" after a fine Family Meal. "Button It Up" (when talking out of turn,or being rude. Also; "Come On Hazel" (at the slowest traffic light in Allouez.
I will continue to always think of you during the holidays. Thanksgiving Christmas and New Year's but also my fond memory of you driving me to New England culinary January 2nd 2004.
Wishing you all the peace and beauty of the Christmas season and your new extraordinary Journey.
Thank you Bill, love always "Tiger" Erich

"Bill" As We All Called Him; You Were A Most Thoughtful, Generous, Kind Hearted Soul. A Warm Laugh And Smile. You Had Many Expressions And Quips. Some That My Siblings And I Still Use. You Taught Me Some Trickery And Garage Lodgic For Home Repairs, That I Utilize Daily. Your Love Of Cigars; Every Time I Light One, I Think Of You Getting Out Of Your Van And Resting It On Our Brick Ledge. You Took Me On My First Canadian Fishing Trip. Something That I Became Inpassioned For And Try To Do Annually.
In Fact; When I Received The News I Was Ice Fishing In Ontario Canada And You Were Right There In My Thoughts.

"JIMMO MO JIMMO MO JEH"
BILL; Why Did You Have To Go To Pine Street So Soon...
REST EASY MY FRIEND

Bill, you are going to be greatly missed. You welcomed my children and I into your family with opened arms. I will always cherish the memories on Clear Lake. Taking the night boat ride, listening to you tell the story of Clear Lake and seeing it through your eyes. That is one memory I will always hold within my heart. Rest easy, Bill.

Vicki- ((HUGS)) I heart aches for you. I have been thinking of you and praying for you, for God to speed and ease your grief and sadness. Bill will always be with you, in your heart and all around you. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I love you!

Bill.... you welcomed my children and I into your family with opened arms. I always enjoyed spending time with you and Vicki out at the Cabin. Strolling the lake and listening to your story about the local cabins and what the area used to be, moons ago. Even though we heard the story a time or two, I still enjoyed seeing Clear Lake through his eyes. Bill, you will be missed by so many! Rest easy!

Vicki- I am deeply sorry for your loss. Bill was such a caring and generous man. He will always be with you. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. God Speed. ((hugs))

Bill, thank you for the many memories and laughs that only you could bring forth so easily from all your friends like us from our East High Days. Graceful on the skis, demoing your Wedlin technique when we were stuck in Snowplow, story telling with "Killer Kaftan" on almost any ride to school or Poker game, that voice and way of tellig a tale something never to be forgotten, and your Friendship-- always a joy to be around. May God Bless on your journey we won't forget the "Beanser"
