Sharon (Cropsey) Reeths, 77, of Green Bay passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was born February 8, 1941 to Ken and Bessie (DeWitt) Cropsey. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. On September 8, 1962, she married Patrick Reeths and spent 56 years together.
Sharon was a stay at home mother and said the best part of her life was raising her two boys, Patrick and Michael. In her later years, she enjoyed going to the casino until her illness wouldn’t allow this to happen.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; her sons, Patrick (Anne) Reeths and Michael Reeths; her grandsons, Austin, Alex and Sam Reeths; her three sisters-in-law, Judi Stubble, Teri Luedeman, and Judy Cropsey; her brother-in-law, Donald Reeths; Tina Reeths, mother of Austin and Alex, and Cindy Spangler, who Sharon loved like a daughter; and further survived by nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Earl “Butch” Cropsey.
Visitation for Sharon will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 from l0:00 am until noon at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. The memorial service will take place at noon at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff from Unity Hospice, the nurses, CNAs and Sarah, our social worker, who made sure Sharon was comfortable in her last days. Honoring Sharon’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A memorial fund has been established in Sharon’s name. All contributions will be given to Unity Hospice.
