Steve Leanna Obituary

Steve Alan Leanna, 57, passed away peacefully from his life into the arms of his friend, Jesus, on Sunday January 14, 2018.  Steve was born January 23, 1960 to Dale and Karen (Olson) Leanna.  He graduated from the school of “fun” the day he was born.

Steve had an infectious laugh and smile for everyone he met! He loved music and enjoyed dancing (especially) if a “pretty girl” would join him. He thoroughly enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and always proudly wore the medals he received. Steve was an avid Packers fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his team!  Steve worked for Aspiro for over 35 years and made numerous friends throughout the years.

Survivors include his mother Karen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Laurie Leanna, Glen Leanna, Dan and Julie Leanna, Tony and Deanna Leanna; nieces and nephews, Nicole and (fiancé Craig) Leanna, Lindsay (Jeremy) Berna, Brooke (friend John) Leanna, Tiffany (Eric) Gribble, Travis (Kimi) Leanna, Mitch (Kristin) Leanna, Anthony (Sarah) Leanna, Stephanie (Ryan) Wijas, Benjamin Leanna and Wyatt Leanna; his special friends, Jimmy, Craig, Chris and Linda. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Dale, on October 13, 2007; his paternal grandparents, August and Marion Leanna and maternal grandparents, Gustave and Cecelia Olson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Green Bay First Assembly of God Church, 1460 Shawano Avenue, from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 6:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Steve’s family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve’s name  for Aspiro.
