Wade Stephan Haney, 59, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Wade was born December 17, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the eldest son of Paul E. Haney and the late Colleen M. Ottum (Meyer).
Wade will be dearly missed by his three sons Zachary R. Schmitz, and twin brothers Luke M. Schmitz and Derek M. Schmitz, Tennessee. He is also survived by his father, Paul Haney, Green Bay; brother, Joseph R. Haney, Green Bay; sister, Brook A. (Darrell) Knigge, Utah; aunt, Amelia C. Wilquet (Meyer); uncle, Paul R. Meyer; nephew Heath D. Haney, Green Bay, and numerous cousins and friends.
In addition to his mother, Colleen, Wade is preceded by his sister, Shawn M. Haney; uncle, Thomas J. Haney; uncle, Steven J. Meyer; and mother of his children, Denise J. DeVillers.
A Celebration of Life gathering with family and friends to honor Wade, will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John Street on Friday, April 5, 2019. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the Prayer Service at 11:00 am Wade had a deep love for The Lord, his children, family, and music. In loving memory of Wade, kindly share a prayer with our Lord. Psalm 23: "The Lord is my Shepard...". May he eternally rest in peace.
