William “Bill” J. Kazik, 68, passed away on January 1, 2019. He was born on August 19, 1950 to the late Edward and Edith (Dionne) Kazik in Green Bay. Bill served in the US Army and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the Military order of the Purple Heart Chapter 164. Bill enjoyed playing softball, especially with the “Special K’s” at the Pink Flamingo Tournament. He was also an avid Packers fan.
Bill is survived by his children, Jodi (Charles) Walter, Tracey (Chris) Boehm, Salem Kazik, Quade Kazik and Delain Kazik; grandchildren, Candace (Daniel) Hines, Christopher and Leah Vannieuwenhoven; soon to be great grandson, Brantley William Hines; sister, Sharon Freeman, Debbie (Tom) Albers, Edward (Paula) Kazik and James (Annamae) Kazik; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Kazik; daughter, Kaylee Kazik; and brother in law, Paul Freeman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 6:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Bill’s family on his tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
