Albert “Bob” Robert Kardoskee, Jr, 73, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay.
Bob was born on July 7, 1951 in Denver, CO to Albert and Helga (Olson) Kardoskee, Sr. He was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School and furthered his education at UW-Green Bay earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. On October 6, 1984 he married Cynthia Bessert. Bob was a Water Quality Supervisor for 28 years for De Pere Wastewater Treatment Plant, and retiring in 2010 from the Green Bay Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Bob was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. For the past 15 years, he was the secretary and treasurer for Woodlawn Cemetery in Oconto Falls. Bob was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, he enjoyed Nascar, and bowling, taking great pride in bowling a 300 game.
Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years: Cindy Kardoskee; brother: Jim Kardoskee; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Dale and Valerie Bessert, Kay Bessert, and Carlene Bessert; and nieces and nephews: Sarah Counard, Andrea (Lee) Shilts, Robert Bessert, Steven (Rachel) Bessert, Jake Bessert, and Lee Bessert. Bob is further survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Helga Kardoskee; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clifford and June Bessert; and two brothers-in-law: Rich Bessert and Brian Bessert.
A funeral service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 6:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 514 S. Clay Street, with Rev. Jon Zabell officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the church, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. Bob will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oconto Falls.
