Annette Evelyn Stevens, age 68 was born on April 29, 1956, in Oconto Falls, WI, to Robert and Charlotte (Osman) Stevens. She passed away on July 9, 2024, in Green Bay, WI. She was a cherished individual known for her caring nature and deep love for her family and friends.
Annette attended Oconto Falls High School and built a fulfilling career as a Cage Vault Supervisor at Oneida Casino, where she retired. She was well-respected by her colleagues and brought dedication and warmth to her workplace every day.
Her life was rich with personal interests and hobbies. Annette was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, and her love for his music often filled her home. She also enjoyed horror films, which she watched with her grandchildren. Annette had a creative spirit, engaging in crafting, sewing, and crocheting, and cherished moments spent with her beloved dog, Reba.
Annette was the loving mother of Steve (Mary) Stevens, Rebecca (Rob) VanHaren, and Mellissa (Paul) Mayernik. Her joy was multiplied by her grandchildren Micheal Stevens, Natasha Gonion, Nathan Gonion, Natalee Stevens, Kaylee (Ryan) Coppens, Kyler (Hannah) Coppens, Niki (Landon) Lucht, Gabby Euhardy, Kayahna (Joseph) Kellow, and Ashton (Samantha) Pionek, as well as her great-grandchildren Elijah, Lilly, Laila, Aubree, Brynlee, Carsyn, Charlotte, Madison, Miley, Jayden, and Violet. She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Stevens, siblings Theresa (Angela) Stevens, Russell Stevens, and Robert (Patty) Stevens, and her significant other, Matthew Johnson, along with his family Rose, Janel, and Thomas (Joc) Johnson. Her life was enriched by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
Annette was preceded in death by her father, Robert Stevens; the father of her three children, Steve VanHaren; granddaughter, Tiffany Stevens; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Roy Reif; and her brother, Micheal Stevens.
A celebration of Annette's life will be held at Oconto Falls Beach on the west side, on Saturday, July 20th, from 12 pm to 6 pm, where friends and family will gather to share memories and honor her legacy. Her spirit, marked by generosity and love, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
