Arlene L. Wood

Arlene L. Wood, age 89, of Oneida passed away on October 26, 2021.

Arlene was born July 8, 1932, in Spooner, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Elroy and Leola Hansen. She was a graduate of Spooner High School with the class of 1950.

Arlene was united in marriage to Howard Wood August 28, 1987, in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2021.

Arlene was an Eastern Star Member of the Green Bay Martha Washington Chapter. She served as Worthy Matron for Martha Washington Chapter in 1981-82 and 1982-83. She was also a member of the Kewaunee Chapter where she also served as Worthy Matron. Arlene was the Grand Warder, a District Deputy for 12 years. She served on Hospitality Committees and Arrangement committees several times. Arlene is affiliated with Fidelity Chapter in Appleton and served in several offices there as well.

Survivors include her daughter: Lu Ann (Scott) Bauer, Lambertville, MI, Steve (Kris Simonson) Livermore, De Pere; grandchildren: Aaron (Theresa), Caleb, Jared, Katie (Andy); great grandson: Gabrielle, Sisters: Los (Pat) Mahoney and Pauline (Glen) Hartman; nieces, and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by both parents and brother: Michael Hansen.

Visitation will take place for both Howard and Arlene at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay, on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Following the visitation there will be an Eastern Star Ceremony at 7:00pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services for Arlene.

A church service will be held, Saturday October 30, 2021, at 10:00am at Bridge Point Church, 2421 West Point Road, Green Bay, WI for both Arlene and Howard. Following the service there will be graveside services held at Fort Howard Cemetery, Green Bay, with military honors to follow for Howard.
