He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, daughters, Susan Vogel & Donna Vogel, parents, Joseph & Theodora Vogel, in-laws, Joseph & Frances Lensmeyer.   Also brothers: Robert (Louise) Vogel, Joseph Vogel, Harold Vogel, James (Leona) Vogel, sisters:  Irene (Lawrence) Fromholz, Angeline (Percy) Bump, Margaret (Norman) Manlick, Hilaria (Michael) Pankratz and Florence (Leland) Leighty.  In-laws, Mildred(Joe) Hynek, Olive (Ray) Huinker, Esther (Larry) Skubal, Grace (Ben) Shimon, Betty (Ervin) Lakatos, Florence (Melvin) Herrmann, Clarence Lensmeyer & Joseph Lensmeyer.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM led by Deacon Michael Dabeck.  Visitation will continue on from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday July 22, 2021 at Nativity of our Lord Parish, 2270 S.
