Bette L. Woodhouse, age 95, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at her residence.
Bette was born February 26, 1929, in Appleton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Hugo and Lydia (Sommer) Krueger. She was a graduate of Appleton West High School, Class of 1947. A few years later, she earned her Business Degree in Oshkosh. On May 27, 1950, she was united in marriage to John “Jack” Woodhouse in Greenville, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on August 10,1985.
Bette enjoyed being with family, cooking, baking, making homemade Christmas goodies for family and friends, and playing cribbage with her grandson and friends at her apartment complex. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her great grandkids and great grand-pup. She had a heart of gold as well as being a very giving person.
Bette was a homemaker and was always willing to help anyone in time of need.
Survivors include her daughter: Sandi Barrette; one grandson: Chad (Jody) Barrette; two great grandchildren: Crue and Isla Barrette; nieces: Judy Verhagen and Cheryl (Steve) Schmidt and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Woodhouse, sister Irene Peters, brother-in-law Orville Peters, in laws John and Mabel Woodhouse, son in law, Robert Barrette, nephew Allan Peters, and nephew In-law Marty Verhagen.
Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 South Oneida Street, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Pett.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m.

The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the Woodhouse family with arrangements.In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been established in her name for Redeemer Lutheran Church.
