Bonnie J. Petri, age 82, passed away January 8, 2024, in Santa Clara, CA. She was born October 31, 1941, to the late Irwin and Florence (Anderson) De Laruelle in Green Bay. Bonnie graduated from West High School with the class of 1960. On April 18, 1964, she married Clarence “Chuck” Petri in Green Bay.
Bonnie enjoyed traveling with Chuck, spending time at their cabin with the family and their many pets. For many years she volunteered at Heritage Hill Park and lunched with the ladies of the Red Hat Society. Bonnie also excitedly followed the happenings on the PGA Tour and loved trips to the zoo where she would ‘adopt’ her favorite animals. Since moving to California in 2021 she has enjoyed visiting the ocean, seeing the mountains and exploring new foods with family.
She is survived by her son, Robert John Petri; his wife, Jennifer; & two grandchildren, Connor & Logan Petri, all of Santa Clara, CA. Also by nieces, Wanda Petri (Godchild) of Fond du Lac, Heather Petri of Savage, MN, and many special friends.
