Carl R. Kolbusz

Carl R. Kolbusz, 69, of Green Bay passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Carl was born on September 22, 1955 in Green Bay to Donald and Patricia “Pat” (Hendrickson) Kolbusz. He was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. Carl proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On April 22, 1978 he married the love of his life, Anita Trice. Carl was an Industrial Electrician for Sanimax for 40 years, until his retirement in 2021. Carl was an avid Packer fan, and enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking long rides with his mom. Carl had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He was a hard worker and always put everyone else before himself. Carl cherished time with his family, especially his children and grandbabies, they were his entire world.  

Carl is survived by his loving wife: Anita Kolbusz; two sons: Shane (Stephanie) Kolbusz and Michael (Katie) Kolbusz; two grandchildren: Addison and Peyton; grand-dogs: Tucker “Taco”, Stella, and Chewie; brother: Dennis (Wendy) Kolbusz; and sisters-in-law: Sharon Kolbusz and Sue (Joe) Miller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents” Donald and Pat Kolbusz; faithful companion: Blue; Brothers and sisters: David Kolbusz, Mary Jo Kolbusz, John Kolbusz, and Mike Kolbusz; parents-in-law: George and Dora Bielut; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mona (Eddie) Murphy, Ray Trice, and Penny Kepner; and niece: Maureen.

A life celebration will be held to honor Carl’s life on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Military Honors will take place at 6:30 pm.
