Caroline A. Vieaux

November 12, 1929 ~ October 2, 2021 (age 91)

Obituary

Caroline “Carol” Alecia Vieaux, age 91, of Green Bay passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Woodside Assisted Living, Green Bay.

Carol was born November 12, 1929, in Miles City, Montana, daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette (Kavitz) Carter.  She was a graduate of Custer County High School, Miles City, Montana with the Class of 1947.  On September 8, 1956, she was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Vieaux in Forsyth, Montana.  Her and Jerry just celebrated 65 years of blissful marriage.

Carol was employed by Montana Bell Telephone Company as a supervisor for 10 years.  Anyone would tell you that she was a feisty Montana gal who would let you know in no uncertain terms what she thought.  Carol retired to become a meticulous homemaker, where she kept everything perfect in her home and with herself.  She was a true nature lover, loved flowers and all animals especially horses.  If Carol had her way no animal would ever go hungry or be abused.  She loved her “big sky country” Montana and made numerous annual trips “home”.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years:  Jerry Vieaux, Green Bay; her beloved feline and constant companion:  Kira; both of whom miss her beyond words; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents Peter & Antoinette, two brothers Donald and James Carter and many feline friends.

Cremation has taken place at Affordable Cremation Care, Green Bay and a Celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date. Jerry would like to send a special thank you to Unity Hospice and Dr. Nicholas Heezen, for their help and compassion, they are truly a wonderful organization.  Thank God for them.  Also, a thank you to Jerry and Caroline’s wonderful neighbors, Brad, Jill, and Diane, for all the meals, yard work and most of all the emotional support, as well as their nieces and nephews.  Most of all thank you to Jerry’s best friend, Greg, without him, Jerry would not have made it.  You continue to be his rock to lean on and he can never thank you enough.
