Charles Frederick Swanson

Charles Frederick Swanson, 88, Suamico passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at Jack & Engrid Meng Residence in De Pere.

Charles was born on August 4, 1937 in Manistique, MI to John G. and Edessa P. (Kimball) Swanson. After his high school graduation, he served his country in the United States Army. On February 27, 1966, he married Patricia Kelly in Cheboygan, MI. Charles worked as a maintenance mechanic at St. Mary’s Hospital until his retirement. He enjoyed model railroading and spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife: Patricia Swanson; children: Patrick (Mary) Kelly, Tamara Swanson, and John (Sherrie) Swanson; grandchildren: Michelle (Michael), Andrew (Kiana), and Jordan; and great-grandchildren: Greyson, and Garen. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and one sister.

Private family services are being held at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
