Cheryl Ann (Rusch) LaPlante

Cheryl Ann LaPlante, 61, of Hobart passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

Cheryl was born on October 6, 1963 in Green Bay to Warren and Mary Rusch. She was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School. She married Maurice LaPlante and they had a daughter together. Cheryl worked over 34 years as a machine operator for Procter and Gamble in Green Bay. Cheryl enjoyed camping, skiing, bicycling and horses.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter: Tiana LaPlante; father and stepmother: Warren and Rosemary Rusch; brothers and sister: Steve Rusch, Brian Rusch, and Brenda Rusch; stepsisters: Susan Heath and Brenda Heath; and former spouse and caretaker: Maurice LaPlante. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Rusch.

A private family service is being held to celebrate Cheryl’s life.
