Cheryl Tyndall Obituary

Cheryl Anne Tyndall, age 69, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Cheryl was born to the late Ross and Charlotte (Brockman) Meade in De Pere on June 25, 1953. She married Jeffrey Tyndall in 1978, and together they raised their son James.

Cheryl was the nicest person in the world. She had a heart of gold, and was always thinking about other people, and asking what their interests were so she could think of gifts for them. She was an avid women’s golf fan. Cheryl loved to talk golf and attended several professional tournaments. She also loved dogs and always stopped to pet any dogs she saw. She liked watching Hallmark movies and any classic tv shows, especially Gunsmoke. Cheryl was a beloved member of Calvary Lutheran Church, and served the church by volunteering in the altar guild, food pantry, mailings, ushering, and the lawn mowing and snow removal teams. In her younger years, she liked to play the guitar and sing. Cheryl was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend to everyone in her life. She was a very positive influence on others. Our hearts are broken, and we will miss her dearly.

Cheryl is survived by her husband: Jeff; her brother: David; her sister: Marilyn; and sister-in-law: Barb; her brother-in-law: James; nieces: Allison and Stephanie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents: Ross and Charlotte; Jeff’s parents: Jim and Florence Tyndall; her son: Jeff Jr.; her son: James; her daughter-in-law: Laura; Laura’s parents:  Rich and Debbie Miller; her sister: Gail; her brother: Gary; and her sister-in-law: Maryann.

Per Cheryl’s request, the family will have a private service honoring Cheryl’s life.
