Christine “Chris” (Spencer) Adams, age 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Bellin Memorial Hospital. Born on May 4, 1951, to the late George and Norma Spencer in Yorkshire, England.
After graduating high school at the age of 16, Christine began her service in the Royal Air Force as an operator at Bawdsey Air Force Base.
On May 2, 1970, she married the love of her life, Arthur Stanley Adams III, in Brampton, England.
After settling in Green Bay, Wisconsin, their union was blessed with five children, and she dedicated herself to her family while also working for the family business, United Crane Service until her retirement. Christine was especially proud to gain her US citizenship in 2007, a milestone that filled her with great pride.
Christine loved watching sports, especially when her kids and grandchildren participated. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and the reality show Big Brother. Her favorite snack was Twiglets, a taste from her English roots. She will be remembered for her spunk, sassy attitude, and a laugh that lit up every room she entered.
Christine is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur III “Butch”; her children: Arthur IV (Erin) Adams, Andrew (Jennifer) Adams, Julie (Jesse) Kujava, Timothy (Chelsea) Adams, and Steven Adams (Shaunna Evensen & son Haiden); and her cherished grandchildren: William, Ella, Kenton, Charles, Nathan, Carson, Arthur V, Owen, Jonah, Brynlee, and Truman. Her siblings: sister Angela (Ray) Bowater and brother John (Ann) Spencer. Sister-in laws: Nanci (Robert) Villareale, Patty (Walt) Justison. Brother-in-laws: Bruce (Audrey) Adams, Kevin (Cyndee) Adams. Nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Norma Spencer; and her in-laws, Alice and Arthur Adams.
