Cindy Rowe Obituary

Cindy L. Rowe, 69 of Green Bay passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Unity’s Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice residence in De Pere after a 22-year battle with breast cancer.  She was born on June 21, 1951 in Baraboo WI, daughter of the late Daniel and Naureen (Sarrington) Shilling.  Cindy graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School with the class of 1970.  On March 22, 1977 she married David Rowe in Portage, WI.  One of Cindy’s greatest joys was taking care of God’s children as an advocate and caregiver.  Other activities that she enjoyed were camping, square dancing, ceramics and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, David, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki (David) Banker, Madison; two grandchildren, Alexis and Synnovia Rowe-Banker, Madison; one step-brother, Michael Schilling, Watertown. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Ruth Schilling and her aunts and uncles.

Per Cindy’s request, cremation has occurred, and her last wishes were not to have a service. The family would like to thank the staff at Unity’s Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice for the compassionate care they provided her during the final stages of her journey.

Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared on her tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
