Codie Vander Meulen, age 31, of Green Bay, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 13, 2022.

Codie was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he attended Bay Port High. Following high school, he went on to start his family. He was blessed with a little boy, Hunter Allen Vander Meulen, who was his pride and joy. Codie’s second love was his emotional support fur baby, Juniper. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and making memories with his son. He devoted his life to his parents and had taken on the responsibility of being his parents’ live-in caretaker. Codie was a kind and caring soul who would do anything to help someone in need. He was the life of the party and was known for his incredible sense of humor and goofy personality.

He left behind his son Hunter Vander Meulen; mother of their shared son, Chelsea Krystof; mother and father Paula (Allen) Vander Meulen; sister Ashley Vander Meulen (Justin Rankins); God daughter and niece Serenity Vander Meulen; niece Eternity Vander Meulen; half siblings Traci and Allen Vander Meulen Jr.; grandmother and grandfather Judith (Patrick) Sprangers; uncle Randy Borremans; aunt and uncle Tami (Todd) Kaczrowski; and many other family members and friends. He was proceeded in passing by: grandmother Jacqueline Borremans; grandmother Linda Kaczrowski; grandfather Kennith “snuffy” Vander Meulen; great grandma Josephine (Royals) Ambrose; and uncle Scott Kaczrowski.

A private viewing for the family was held on Saturday, June 18, 2022. To honor Codie’s memory, we are holding a Celebration of Life at Meadowbrook Park (670 Hillcrest Heights in Howard, WI) on Saturday, September 10, 2022. The time of the event will be made available in the coming weeks. We invite his close friends and family to attend in celebration of the incredible person Codie was. We ask attendees to wear purple in his honor.
