Curtis Haag, age 55, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Sobieski on Friday, July 28, 2023. He was born to Steven and Donna Haag/Flaherty in Green Bay, WI. He received awards and medals for his time served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1991. He was well-known and appreciated where he worked at United Health Care for many years as a Senior Claims Business Process Analyst.
Curtis loved spending time with his family, was a great example of a hard worker, would give the shirt off his back to help someone out, and drew strength from his faith in God. He enjoyed working outdoors, fishing, and hunting. His gentle and kind personality touched everyone around him.
He is survived by Cassandra Schriver (daughter), Nicholas LaPlant (son), Zacheriah Haag (son), Elijah Haag (son), Pamela Haag, Steven & Karen Haag (father), Richard Flaherty (stepfather), Brian & Lisa Haag (brother), Stephanie & John Massart (sister), uncles, aunts, and cousins. Curtis was preceded in death by Donna Flaherty (mother), Sheldon Haag (uncle), Stewart Haag (uncle), and grandparents.
A memorial service for Curtis will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay with Pastor Mike Tappa officiating the service. Visitation will occur from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
