Daniel "Dan" R. Hoffman

Daniel “Dan” Robert Hoffman, age 89 passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Green Bay.

Dan was born August 18,1935 in Wisconsin Rapids, son of the late Harold and Esther (Kortkamp) Hoffman.  He went to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School. He then joined the Airforce and worked on planes during the end of the Korean War. On August 15,1959 he was united in marriage to Charlotte Stender. Dan enjoyed artwork, fishing and the outdoors. Dan owned his own business painting signs in his later years and previous to that did carpentry work. Survivors include his brother Harold B. Hoffman of California and Dan’s wife Charlotte Hoffman, their daughters Karla Rogers  (husband Kent and children Ashley, married to Mark Erwin with daughter Claire and son Koah; son Kendrick, married to Alyssa with son Owen and daughter Charlotte); and their second daughter Jennifer Wettstein  (married to Dennis, with children Jesse Ehlen, married to Amy and daughter Elora; daughter Danielle and her daughter Lilly). Dan was preceded in death by their son Glenn Daniel and great-grandson Blake.

Burial of his remains will be at Kunesh Cemetery.

The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services assisted the Hoffman family with arrangements.
