Dennis D. Strutz

Dennis D. Strutz, age 80, of Pound, WI passed away on Friday November 4, 2022 at  Aurora Baycare Medical Center.

Dennis was born May 16, 1942 in Marinette, son of the late Curtis Strutz and Joyce Schroeder.  He was a graduate of Marinette High School with the Class of 1960.  On May 12, 1962 he was united in marriage to the former Donna Roeder in Marinette.

Dennis spent time doing the things he loved, which included walking in the woods, canoeing, woodworking, reading, time on the water, making furniture, the Boundary Waters, sitting by the bonfire, drinking whiskey, beer and margaritas.  He loved making beef jerky, attending his grandkids events and above all else, spending time with the family that he is so proud of.

Dennis worked for Procter and Gamble as a millwright until his retirement in 1997.

Survivors include:  his wife Donna Strutz; his children Tammy Ehlers, Brenda & Dan LaCombe, Kimberly Tollefson; grandchildren Nick & Natalia Ehlers, Ashley & Eli Gedatus, Katie Ehlers, Spencer LaCombe, Jessica LaCombe, Neve Tollefson and Liv Tollefson; great granddaughter Angelina Emberson; siblings Linda Olsen and Tab Schroeder; as well as other relatives and friends.  Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Curtiss and Joyce Strutz.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1350 Lombardi Ave.).  Cremation will follow services and Dennis’ remains will be laid to rest at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m.
