Donald H. Paulus

Donald H. Paulus, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center. He was born May 29, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henry and Helen (Fasczewski) Paulus. When he was eleven years old, they moved to Pulaski, WI. He attended Assumption BVM grade school and was a 1952 graduate of Pulaski High School. He then graduated from DeVry Technical College in Chicago. He worked at Gordon Olson Company, Davis TV, and The Wm Van Domelen Company where he was the Sylvania District Service Manager. He retired from Tom’s TV Service. He also repaired Baldwin organs in Wisconsin for Don Poh Music Company. 

On October 6, 1956, Don married Audrey Fischer at Assumption BVM Church, Pulaski. They were happily married for sixty-five years and are the proud parents of three daughters. Don enjoyed bowling, playing sheepshead, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his Tuesday lunch and McDonald’s groups. Don was a long-time member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish and sang in the choir.

He is survived by his wife: Audrey; daughters and sons in law:  Lisa (Bruce) Neal, Green Bay, Mari Paulus, Portland, OR, and Sara (Collin) Hummel, Apple Valley, MN, grandchildren: Marissa Neal, St. Paul, MN, Zach Feiner, Portland, OR, and Jonah Hummel and Julian Hummel, Apple Valley, MN; In-laws: Dick and Mary Fischer and Roland  and Ronda Fischer, all of Townsend, WI; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law: Richard and Frances Fischer; sisters: Loretta (Gerald, Don) Marnocha, Barb (Darell) Buechler. 

Funeral service will be held October 10, 2022, at 11:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St, Green Bay with Reverend Matt Simonar officiating. Visitation will occur from 9:00 am until the time of service.
