Donna M. Puissant

Donna M. Puissant, age 88, of Howard, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Donna was born in Green Bay to the late Norbert and Evelyn (Barrette) Mannebach on March 11, 1935. She married Gerald “Jerry” Puissant at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They were together for almost 60 years until his passing in 2012.

Donna worked for many companies over the years, however, her favorite job was being at home raising her daughters.

Donna loved spending time with her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She also enjoyed bingo, happy hour, listening to music, traveling, going on daily road trips with her friends, and the color yellow. Donna adored all things Mickey Mouse, and loved her sweets – especially lemon bars.

Donna is survived by her daughters: Susan Vogels and Debra (Dan) Christoff; grandchildren: Hunter Vogels, Matthew (Paige) Christoff, Sophie (Jake) Aho; great-grandchildren: Brantley Aho, Lucille, Maebelline, and Matilda Christoff; sister Barb (Roger) Angst, ex son-in-law Joel Vogels, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister Jackie Besaw.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Donna at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi, Ave., on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 6:00 pm The family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 pm with Deacon Mike Dabeck officiating. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband Jerry at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at New Perspectives and especially Betty’s Harbor for their exceptional care the last 8 months. Also, thank you to the staff at Unity Hospice, especially Sarah and Tara her last few days.
