Dorothy E Cartier

Dorothy E. Cartier, age 91, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021.  She was born June 16, 1929, to the late Charles and Clara (Nys) Kropp in the Town of Hobart.  Dorothy was a 1948 graduate of Pulaski High School.  On June 19, 1948, she married Calvin E. Cartier in Green Bay.  He preceded her in death May 8, 2011.

Dorothy was employed at the H. C. Prange Co. in sales and as an elevator operator.  She volunteered at Bellin Hospital in the gift shop for over 40 years and was a member of the Bellin Auxiliary.  She loved going to the cottage near Pelican Lake and enjoyed making maple syrup with her husband, Cal, at the cottage.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Cartier (Alison Heuvelmans), Green Bay, Penny and Dan Ott, Suamico and Tim Cartier, Suamico;  eight grandchildren, Gregory, Abigail (Tommy), Michael (Sarah), Rick (Jill), Carli (Josh), Tim (Julie), Kristen (Sean),and Brittany (Yemi);  sixteen great-grandchildren, Mason, Julian, Ryker, Blake,  Madeline, Michael, Molly, Marshall, Jade, Sloan, Sicily, Xavier, Jude, Cassidy, Ese and Efe; her sister-in-law, Barbara Cartier, Ripon; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her husband, Cal, she is preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Willard (Felicia) Kropp, Mable Kropp, Charles (Annabelle) Kropp, Ervin (Mary) Kropp and Catherine (Everett) Streckenbach.

Visitation for Dorothy will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm.  The funeral service will take place at 12:45 pm with the Rev. Robb McClintock officiating.  Entombment will take place at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Expressions of sympathy, memories and photos may be shared with Dorothy’s family on her tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
