Edwin "Ed" R. Stewart

Edwin R. “Ed” Stewart, age 85, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, at his residence.

Ed was born July 13th, 1937, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frederick and Harmony (Hutchenson) Stewart. He grew up and went to high school in Duluth, Minnesota. After graduation, he started working for the Soo Line Railroad. He married the former Joan Marie Rasmussen in Duluth, Minnesota in 1961. They were blessed with two sons, Robert Irving Stewart, and Aaron Lee Stewart.

Ed and his family moved to Green Bay in 1965 when he took a job with the Green Bay and Western Railroad.

Survivors include his wife: Joan Stewart; one son: Aaron Stewart and his wife Debra; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert, and one granddaughter Kristen Stewart.

Cremation has taken place at The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Per Ed’s wishes, there will be no services.
