Elizabeth “Betty” Lou Herber, 78, of Green Bay passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her home.
Betty was born on April 14, 1943 in Green Bay to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Cormier) Doney. On May 2, 1959 she married Donald Herber. Together, they were blessed with 55 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2014.
Betty was able to use her creativity everyday, as she was a florist for Sentry Floral and Parmentiers Green house. She enjoyed doing crafts, fishing up north and spending time at the cottage on Roberts Lake, many trips to Las Vegas with Don, and she loved nature and all animals.
Betty is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Debbie) Herber and Candace (Gary) Herber-Kinville; grandchildren: Christine (Justin) Spettel, Ryan Kinville, Leslie (fiancé Brandon Wallenfang) Kinville, Jeffrey (Tricia) Barrette, and Chrissy (Andrew) Turk; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Landon, Lauren and Liv; sister: Susan Smith; brother: Pete Doney; sister-in-law and close friend: Kathy Doney; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Peter (Delores) Herber, Jr., Carolyn (Dan) Doedens, Dan Herber, Charlotte (Ron) Vande Hei, Rick (Doris) Herber, John (Donna) Herber, Mary (Eugene) Rolf, Victor (Joanne) Herber, Margaret (Charles) Keehan, and Jim (Karen) Herber; and special niece: Holly Smith. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Donald Herber; her parents-in-law: Peter and Mareena Herber; brothers: Bob Doney and Tom Doney; sister-in-law: Lou Ann Herber; and special aunt: Shirley Bries.
A funeral service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave., with Deacon Nick Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
