Eugene A. Demeny

Eugene A. Demeny, age 86, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday September 10, 2023, at Aurora Bay Care, Green Bay.  He was born April 18, 1937, to the late Adolph and Rose (Cichantek) Demeny in Iron River, MI.  He graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1955.  He married Mary L. Bishop October 12, 1957, in Ottowa, Kansas.  She preceded him in death on July 20, 2017. 

Eugene enlisted and served in the United States Marine Reserves and the United States Air Force.  In his free time he enjoyed building RC airplanes, gardening, boating, off road racing, fixing stuff and spending time with his grandchildren.

Eugene is survived by his children: Michael (Lori), John (Dawn), Don (Amy), and Marc (Denise); special family member: Stacy; grandchildren: Tyler, Jordan, Josh, Gary, Tyler, Shaianne, Ashley, Tiffany, Casey, Cole, Drew, Dakota, Harper, Taylor, Trista, and Sydney; several great grandchildren; and brother: Jim (Nancy); and son in law: Mark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Mary; daughter: Marilyn Thompson; grandson: Dylan Thompson; brothers: Bob (Martha) and Cyril; and in-laws: Allan and Beulah Bishop.

Visitation will occur Thursday September 14, 2023, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:30 pm at The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, Green Bay.
