She was also an avid sports fan and loved watching the Packers, Brewers, especially Christian Yelich, and the Bucks. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s many sporting events.
In the early years of their marriage, Florence and Larry were foster parents for many children. Florence kept a journal and had a picture of each child they fostered.
Florence and Larry were also avid travelers, and in their later years they spent winters at Bibleville in McAllen, Texas.
