It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Gloeckler, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Fran passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at the age of 93.
Fran graduated from Cudahy High School and worked at Ladish Company in Cudahy before marrying John Gloeckler in 1953. She was a devoted mother to four children and provided an unwavering sense of support to her family, creating a sense of home throughout their many moves around the country. She loved her grandchildren and was so excited to welcome her first great grandchild to the family. She loved being with her family and attended so many of their school activities, concerts and sports events, always cheering them on and ready with a hug or words of encouragement.
Fran and Jack were married for 71 devoted years, and when Jack retired, they spent winters in Arizona. They made many friends there and she enjoyed golfing, yoga, exercising and going to concerts. The warm months were spent in Green Bay enjoying family activities and spending time with friends playing cards and enjoying music.
Fran's siblings: George, Ferdinand (Fritz) and Anne preceded her in death. Survivors include her children: Jeff (Pam), Nancy (Kevin), Ted (Barb) and Lori (Hugo); six grandchildren: John (Deedra), Grant (Erica), Cameron, Caralyn, Lucas and Elena; and one great granddaughter: Henrietta.
There will be a private funeral mass on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church; with inurnment to follow at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
