Obituary
Francis "Fran" Derrold Brott, age 88, of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
Francis was born in Green Bay to the late Robert and Magdaline (Vannieuwenhoven) Brott on June 19, 1935.
Fran was a Navy Veteran, serving proudly from June 8th1954 to June 8th1958. In November of 1959, Francis married the love of his life, Mary Jane Stuckart. Francis enjoyed spending time with his family and camping at their place in Lake Hilbert Campground.
Francis is survived by his wife Mary Jane; his children: Michael (Diane) Brott; Lynne (Jon) Kohlin; Mark (Sheri) Brott. Grandchildren, April Rueckert (Eddie Boivin), Melissa (Josh) Schiltz, Sara Schwittay (Blaine Edington), Christopher (Jess) Brott, Jeremy Brott. Great Grandchildren, Hunter Brott, Destiny Reindl, Hunter Reindl, Ryan Schwittay, Chase Schroeder, Blake Schiltz, Sam Schiltz, Lucas Schwittay, Shane Schwittay, Holden Moore, Anna Brott, Aurora Edington. Step Great Grandchildren, Ajay Boivin, Izzy Edington, Kolton Blazer, Ethan Sattergren, Layton Edington. He was preceded in death by his son Charles Brott and his grandson Shaun Brott.
We will miss Fran’s quick wit, teasing, joking and seeing that mischievous twinkle in his eye. Mostly his caring and kind spirit will be missed.
Per Francis’ wishes, cremation has taken place, and private family services were held.
