Frank Vanderstappen

Frank Joe Vanderstappen, age 62, Village of Howard, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018.  He was born October 22, 1955 to Joseph and Dora (Van Ort) Vanderstappen in Waukegan, Illinois.  On June 23, 1990, he married Eileen (Roth) Dugan in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Frank was employed by Regal Window and Door for 23 years and for the past 6 years  had been employed as a truck driver for Spee Dee Delivery, Inc., until his recent illness.

He enjoyed woodworking, spending time at his on property in Lakewood, with his favorite activity clearing the land on his Kubota, camping and family time.

Frank is survived by his children, Kristel (Craig) Princl, Renee Dugan (Michael) Forst, and Matthew (Rachel) Dugan; ten grandchildren; his siblings, Joan (Sherman) Lose, Rick (Julie) Vanderstappen and Janet (Ross) Forrest; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glenn and Pat Roth; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan and Michael Heynen; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Vera Roth and his brother-in-law, Eric Roth.

Visitation for Frank will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 3:00 until the memorial service at 6:00 pm with Rev. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Frank’s name with all contributions given to Unity Hospice.

The family would like to thank the Unity Hospice staff, especially Tara, Darcy, Dani and Lori for their care and concern for Frank.
